CG Evariste Murenzi and his delegation, have been attended the 26th International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA 2024) Conference taking place in Singapore, from 1 up to 6 September 2024, where Rwanda has been confirmed to host it next year.
Today 27/08/2024, Maj Gen (Rtd) David Tamba Ocil Taluva, Minister of Internal Security in the Republic of Sierra Leone accompanied by Commissioner General of RCS, Evariste Murenzi visited Nyanza Correctional Facility and met with Sierra Leone’s inmates sent by the United Nations.
In the latest news, there was a story of children from Nyagatare Juvenile Correctional Facility, who sat for National Examinations 2023/2024, 16 at primary level and another four 04 at ordinary Level, those who performed exams all passed well, according to their results published by NESA.
The guest of honor in this event was Fredrick Chilukutu, the Zambia Correctional Service Commissioner General, that took a place on 20 June 2024 at Nyango Correctional Staff training school.
