Two female RCS staffs GPPs serving in MINUSCA were awarded with medal for their contribution in Justice and correction

On 14 July 2023, in Bangui , Central Africa Republic. Two female RCS staffs were awarded with medal for their contribution in Justice and correction.This is a UN Medal decoration ceremony for 63 GPP corrections officers from 13 countries serving in MINUSCA-Central African Republic.

The ceremony was graced by Madam Valentine Rugwabiza, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, in her speech emphasised that this was in recognition of their “many efforts and sacrifices that they have contributed to the safety and humane environment seen in the penitentiary service.

Among these correctional Officers were awarded with medal for their contribution in Justice and correction, there were  2 female officers from Rwanda and they have served now ten months.

This ceremony was graced by Madam Valentine Rugwabiza, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General.

 

IP Shadia Kayirangwa and SP Odette Kantarama were awarded with medal for their contribution in Justice and correction
