Namibian Parliament Delegation Visits Rwanda Correctional Service

This Wednesday January 28, 2026 at RCS Headquarters, CG Evariste Murenzi received a delegation of Members of the Namibian Parliament on a study tour to learn from the achievements Rwanda has made since the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Head of Prison Fellowship International Praises the Impact of Spiritual Teachings on Inmates

Andrew Corley, the President of Prison Fellowship International, following his visit to Rwanda Correctional Service headquarters (RCS) on January 14, 2026, where he held a discussion with RCS Commissioner General, CG Evariste Murenzi, proceeded to Nyarugenge Correctional Facility. There, he was impressed by testimonies from inmates who received spiritual and moral teachings that helped to transform their hearts and brought them inner freedom.

Today January 14, 2026, the Commissioner General of the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS), CG Evariste Murenzi, held discussions with Mr. Andrew Corley, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Prison Fellowship International (PFI), at the RCS Headquarters, together with the leadership of its Rwanda branch, Rwanda Prison Fellowship. RCS attends High-Level Symposium on International Humanitarian Law

Today 21 October 2025 Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS) participated in a one-day International Humanitarian Law Symposium held in Kigali. The Symposium was under the theme “International Humanitarian Law(IHL) and Protection of Civilians in Contemporary Conflicts.”
