The Rwandan Prisons are the good model for us- RAKOTONIAINA Lucien, Head of the Malagasy Delegation

After their visit to the Prisons of Nyarugenge, Huye, Nyanza and Nyagatare Rehabilitation Centre, where they visited the various projects implemented by the inmates and after visiting the buildings which shelter them, the Head of this Delegation declared that the Rwandan Prisons will serve as a good model for their country.

Mr RAKOTONIAINA congratulated all the projects prepared by Rwanda Correctional Service in order to improve prisoners’ living conditions.

He also appreciated the success of the TIG penalty, especially its role played in the process of the unity and the reconciliation of the Rwandans and its contribution to the national development.
