On 23 February 2026, the Commissioner General of the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS), CG Evariste Murenzi, received Madam Graciela Gatti Santana, President of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT), at the RCS Headquarters during her official working visit.
This Wednesday January 28, 2026 at RCS Headquarters, CG Evariste Murenzi received a delegation of Members of the Namibian Parliament on a study tour to learn from the achievements Rwanda has made since the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The delegation was led by Hon. James Uerikua, who represents the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on Security, International Relations, and Security of the National Assembly in Namibia.

There, he was impressed by testimonies from inmates who received spiritual and moral teachings that helped to transform their hearts and brought them inner freedom.
Today January 14, 2026, the Commissioner General of the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS), CG Evariste Murenzi, held discussions with Mr. Andrew Corley, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Prison Fellowship International (PFI), at the RCS Headquarters, together with the leadership of its Rwanda branch, Rwanda Prison Fellowship. They discussed achievements made so far and strengthening cooperation in correctional programs.
CG Evariste Murenzi is on a two-day working visit in Namibia for the invitation of his counterpart in charge of Correction in Namibia, CG Raphael T Humunyela. The two Leaders signed the implementation of the existing MoU signed in early 2025.
