pre-trial to access justice<\/li><li>Provision of rehabilitation programs to ensure successful reintegration into community upon release<\/li><li>Monitoring of execution of sentence until aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2332\" aria-expanded=\"false\">ASSIST INMATES ACCESS TO JUSTICE<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2332\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2332\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><ol><li>Inmates are timely assisted to access justice (lawyers, transport to and from courts, online hearings, etc)<\/li><li>Use of Integrated Electronic Case Management System (IECMS) across all justice sector institutions<\/li><li>Use of remote hearings (Video Conference, skype) has helped the criminal justice institutions including RCS to provide timely justice especially during the peak of Covid-19 pandemic<\/li><li>Plea Bargaining recently launched expected to contribute to the reduction of a number of inmates under pre-trial<\/li><li>Releases:\u00a0 on parole, presidential pardon<\/li><\/ol><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div \u201cA\u201d levels at Nyagatare Juvenile Correctional facility<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 b. <\/strong>Primary, \u2018O\u2019 and \u201cA\u201d levels at Nyagatare Juvenile Correctional facility<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Technical and Vocational Education and Training in 8 Correctional facilities with the following trades: masonry, welding, plumbing, electricity, computer skills, hair dressing and beautification, tailoring, carpentry, leather craft, agriculture, automobile mechanics, handicraft making<strong>.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>2. Informal Education:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0 <strong>\u00a0a.<\/strong> Adult literacy<\/p><p>\u00a0<strong> \u00a0b.<\/strong> Prior learning recognition (vocational skills in collaboration with IPRCs and STECOM)<\/p><p>\u00a0 <strong>\u00a0c. <\/strong>Languages<\/p><p><strong>3. Civic Education:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 <strong>a. <\/strong>Ndi Umunyarwanda<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0<strong> b. <\/strong>Other government programs<\/p><p><strong>4.
